The Memorial Scholarship Award
The Len Seroka Memorial Scholarship Award, WRITE TO RACE™, was developed by Len’s niece, Amber Seroka. The program offers a $1,000 scholarship to students interested in a racing career as Len was.
The students are to write an essay meeting specific requirements that state why the student wants to pursue a motor sports career and how he/she intends to achieve their dream. It should be at least 500 words, and answer why they deserve to win. Judges will include members of national race teams. The award will be presented during the Mile High National Event, an event that was Len’s home event.
Scholarship Requirements
Objective is to write an essay expressing reasons why you want the scholarship.
Essay requirements are as follows:
- A minimum of 500 words
- State why you want the scholarship
- State how you plan to use your education to pursue motor sports
- State the motor sports career you would like to pursue
- State why you would like to pursue a career in motor sports
- Have fun writing the essay.
- Be creative and persuasive.
